Born in mid-August, Cowtail’s story is one of survival and resilience. After a tragic incident where two mother dogs were intentionally poisoned after giving birth to 16 puppies, only one mama survived, though she was too sick to nurse. Thanks to the teamwork of multiple rescues, all of the puppies, and the surviving mama, were saved and nursed back to health. Cowtail was one of those brave little survivors, and he has grown into a playful and loving pup full of joy! Now thriving in his foster home, Cowtail is an outgoing and lively puppy who loves to explore, play, and shower everyone with affection. Whether he's chasing toys, romping around with his siblings, or snuggling up for a nap, Cowtail’s cheerful personality shines through. His infectious energy and love for life make him a joy to be around, and his foster family adores his goofy antics. Could your home be the one to welcome this joyful pup? OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR COLORADO BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Colorado. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
