This tiny baby is one of 8 puppies who were saved on Thanksgiving Day. After their mom was found dead the family brought the puppies to the shelter. They hadn't eaten in over 24 hours and needed immediate bottle feeders. Cupid was one of the smallest pups and not doing well, so we put her with one of our nursing moms who lost one of her puppies and it worked out beautifully for all. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update.
