Curtis is an approximately 1 yr old wire haired doodley scruff muffin! He does shed a tiny bit. (Pick any smaller breed and it’s likely part of him but a DNA test would be fun!). He is a total love bug and hasn’t met a stranger yet! He was found abandoned in a crate in sub zero temps so we don’t have a completely history on him. He’s about 23lbs and could stand to gain another 2-3lbs to be at a healthier weight. Which won’t be hard because he’s EXTREMELY food motivated-to the point where it will be safest to feed him away from other animals until he realizes that food scarcity is no longer an issue. He currently eats his meals and sleeps overnight in his crate and has adapted wonderfully to a typical home potty & play routine. He loves to be with you at all times (obsessively at times) so it’s also arranged for him to take breaks away from people during the day in order to learn to settle by himself, too. He’s neutral with the other dogs in the house and is accepting of their presence. He seemed disinterested in the cat but would need to be tested further in other (less distracting) environments to be sure on safety. He has been exposed to a toddler and is a little face-kissy but otherwise unbothered by toddler antics. Curtis is very vocal for the first 15+ minutes in his crate or when he needs to go potty or during the excitement of visitors entering the house. Neighbors with shared walls would need to be advised of this and accepting of it prior to adoption.
