CYRUS

Sweet Cyrus was brought to the shelter when her owners moved. He was just determined to be heartworm positive in June. We have started him on doxycycline to begin killing the bacteria that the microfilaria eats. Cyrus loves to play with ropes, balls and sticks. People are a plus and he is used to living with a cat. He is friendly and playful. Cyrus is housebroken and notifies you when it is time to go outside. He is crate trained. Cyrus is a housedog and enjoys some outside time in the fenced in yard. Cyrus understands: Sit, stay, leave it and here. He is steadily improving on his leash skills and still pulls a little but not bad. He gently takes treats. He occasionally jumps when overly excited. Cyrus LOVES playing or just lying in the pool He loves to be petted.
