My Story

This is Daisy, an adorable little Bichon/Poodle mix. Daisy is about 8 yrs old and only 8 pounds . She was one of dozens of dogs in a hoarding situation up near Wakulla county. We don’t have a lot of details about her life, but we know she wants a new life with lots of love and attention. So Daisy is now looking for her final, loving, forever home. Daisy is housebroken and will go stand by the door when she wants to go out. She does not bark a lot, but she will do a dance for you when she wants her food, a treat or to play. Sometimes she will spin in circles to get your attention if the dancing doesn’t work. So cute! She really likes people and makes friends easily. She does not go crazy when you get home, but does want her "hello pets". She will sit next to you while watching TV or just lay in her bed alone. She currently lives with an older, larger foster brother and allows him his space. She has plenty of energy and likes to play, but she is not demanding and also loves her resting time. She enjoys time in the fenced back yard and would love a short walk, but does not insist on it. Sometimes she will follow you around the house, other times you will find her in one of her many dog beds sleeping soundly. We haven’t seen Daisy around cats so we are not sure how she will react. She is up-to-date on shots, heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, just had a dental cleaning and grooming and is currently on heartworm and flea preventatives. Her adoption fee is $200. Applications to adopt are at kathisk9s.org. Meet greets are scheduled only for approved applicants
