Daisy is a sweet and gentle 2-year-old German Shepherd mix who is ready to find her forever home. This lovable girl has overcome a rough start in life—she was once a guard dog at a tire shop, confined to a small space with five other dogs, even as a young mom at just 1.5 years old. Despite these challenges, Daisy’s resilience and eagerness to learn shine through every day. In a short amount of time, Daisy has blossomed. She’s learning fast and has already mastered walking beautifully on a leash. She’s gaining confidence on her walks, although she’s still a little shy around barking dogs. Daisy knows the “sit” command and is learning to shake hands! She’s also discovering how to play appropriately and is working on greeting people calmly without jumping. She loves playing catch with her toys and enjoys every moment of playtime. Daisy’s personality is a perfect mix of easygoing and affectionate. She loves cuddles, hugs, and belly rubs and has so much love to give. She’s wonderful with children and currently lives with a toddler, showing her gentle and caring side. Daisy does well in the backyard on her own and only barks when necessary, making her a quiet and respectful companion. Daisy would thrive in a home with someone who has the time and patience to continue her training and help her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be.
