Daisy

Wonderful Daisy is an approximately 1-year-old, approximately 45-pound Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix (best guess!). She may have applications in progress, but is currently available. Daisy was dropped off at a local family's home as a stray in Kentucky. She got along well with their dogs, cats and kids, but they could not keep her so she made her way to Stop the Suffering. She may be a little shy at first, but warms up and is very sweet and loving. Even after so much change, she did remarkably well in her foster home her first night, including playing with the resident dogs and snuggling on the couch with her foster mom. Daisy would do best with another confident dog in the home and a fenced yard. Adoption fee is $375 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only. STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs.
