My Story

This handsome Lab is Dallas! He was surrendered to the shelter on 2/8 because his family could no longer afford to care for him. Dallas' former family did say that he is good with kids and good with other dogs. The volunteers describe Dallas as everything a young dog should be: playful, curious, friendly, eager to please, and energetic. He loves treats and will work for them! Dallas is quite strong on leash, so he'll need someone patient, kind, and willing to put in a little work to help him learn to walk better. Labs are a high-energy breed so please ensure you have the time and energy to commit to Dallas before adopting! Dallas is approximately 11 months old, and he weighs 75 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Dallas is waiting patiently in run 811; his ID # is 8013. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136.
