Meet Darla! This sweet 2-year-old girl has been through so much, but you'd never know it by her loving nature. When she was found, she was skin and bones, having clearly had a litter of puppiesthough heartbreakingly, they were never found. But Darla holds no grudges. She is full of love, adores cuddling up next to her people, and just wants to be close. Darla is great with other dogs and cats, but more than anything, she loves people. She's house-trained, hops right in the car for a ride, and walks well on a leash. She's also incredibly smartshe already knows how to sit for a treat and has so much potential to learn more. The only thing she's still working on is resisting the temptation to steal food off the counterwho can blame her after nearly starving? Darla is an absolute angel, and we are so grateful she was found. Now, she's looking for a home where she'll never go hungry againjust lots of love, snuggles, and a family to call her own.
