Darlene

Meet Darlene! Darlene is a 6 year old bulldog who was surrendered from a commercial breeding farm in January. A bit shy at first, Darlene quickly came out of her shell and shares her spunky personality with her foster family. I mean, look at that TONGUE! Now that she is healed and recovered from her surgery, Darlene is ready for her forever home. Big D is cat-friendly and dog-friendly, but there's nothing she loves more than cuddling up near her humans. You can hear Darlene coming from a mile away, between her snorts, grunts, and snores- so be prepared for typical bulldog tendencies. You can find Darlene snoozing in a dog bed, or leaning up against you soliciting pets. She performs a happy dance at meal time, and will zoom around the house and backyard (Darlene's zoomies are occasional and short-lived). She can 100% walk but prefers to be pulled in a wagon if walking long distances. Darlene is spayed and up to date on all shots. She's making progress with housebreaking and mostly enjoys her crate, but sometimes requires a little food motivation to get settled.
