Darryl is in a foster home in San Antonio. He is available for foster or adoption in the PNW. Hi, my name is Darryl. Everyone who sees me says I'm a German short-haired pointer. Well, I probably am, but I'm not a good hunter, nor do I want to be. I'm domesticated and want to be on the couch or just hanging out with my crew. I was found wandering the streets by a good SAMARITAN and placed in foster care to complete my vetting etc. Now I’m all done and waiting for my family to see me. I like car rides, and if you tell me to stay in the back, I will. Or to sit. This picture of me is in the back seat after they snipped my privates. I was in shock. Can you see it in my eyes???? I like all kinds of people and kids. I like walks on leash too. I'm good with ALL dogs. Cats, I'm very curious, and I like to pull towards them on walks, like I’m ready to chase, so likely a no. I’m a very nice, well mannered boy and my people all tell me I’ll make a great family dog. That’s what has me so confused. If I’m such a good boy then why did my family abandon me??? My new posse tells me not to worry, because they have experience in finding awesome homes for awesome dogs… so I am encouraged that I won’t be homeless again.
