5 yrs old, 51 lbs., and heartworm negative; Dawn was picked up as a stray. She has been very well behaved with other dogs and is people friendly. Dawn loves scratches under her chin and getting attention in general. Something she clearly didn't get much of before. We would love to be able to bring her to Vermont to help her find her new family. She's dog and people friendly. A gentle soul. The adoption fee covers pull fee from the shelter, cost we paid to bring them to Vermont, vetting, paperwork to get them across state lines, shots, spay/neuter, when using our vet, deworming, food, and more. Some adoption fees also assist to defray the cost of other Winnie's Legacy pooches whose vetting cost exceeded their adoption fee, as we save all breeds, colors, ages, and special needs.
