He would thrive in an active home. Hiking? Camping? Walks? December is your boy! He is dog friendly – preferring female dogs. He isn't aggressive with male dogs but was visibly uncomfortable and avoided them in playgroups. Here is what shelter staff & volunteers had to say about December: December is a goofball!? ?This little boy is a ball of fun and energy! He gets excited about the little things and will definitely show it. He LOVES to play and he will play withjust about anything! He always has a smile on his face! ? ?He doesn’t have favorites, he loves balls, stuffies, rope toys, and squeaker toys! December easily fills a room with laughter, he prances around with a giant smile on his face and make introductions by rubbing against his new friends like a cat. ? ?This goofy little guy has no idea what to do with himself and plays likes he has zero coordination. It makes for a lot of great laughs when he is rolling over or tripping on his own feet. He is also a talker...but he has the most girly high pitched voice you will ever hear. ? ?December also has a lovely gentle side! He is a goofball but he loves a good snuggle and will flop over for some belly rubs! ? ?He is great about taking treats and knows how to be gentle. He would love an active home with lots playing and walks! I can definitely see him being great with some kids! He does need some leash training! Please give this amazing goofball a chance! He will definitely brighten your life! Just look at that smile!!!!! December's “due out” date was 5pm yesterday (1/26/25). He is literally on borrowed time.
