Deke

Deke is a 10 yr old male lab mix. He can't hear, but he is very friendly. He is looking for a furever home to hang out with a human companion that can give him some love. Overall he is very quiet dog, but sometimes gets excited and barks while waiting for his dinner, after all his foster needs to know that they are being slow in delivering his food. He does really good on walks in the neighborhood and doesn't have any issues of being left home alone for short periods of time. He originally lived with another dog and may do well as a single or with another calm dog though he would need to be fed seperately. We do not think he would do well with a cat or other small animals (he is very interested in the local squirrel population). He would be fine around older kids but because of his size we do not recommend he live with small children as he would likely knock them over. Interested in giving this big senior guy a home?
