My Story

Delphine (pronounced Del-feen) is a 2 year old, 62 pound Pit Bull Terrier. She sure is nice to her puppy roommate! Delphine is a sweet and stocky girl. She's cute and she knows it. Delphine enjoys any time she gets to spend with our volunteers. She loves walks and sitting on the outdoor couch! Adoption fees are $60, $30 or free. If the pet has been at the shelter more than 30 days, they are free. Check the INTAKE DATE on the adoption card to determine this. If the pet is 4 years of age or older OR if you adopt more than one pet, the fee is $30 for each pet. All others are $60. OKC Animal Welfare is open for adoptions from 12-5:00 Tuesday through Saturday. The shelter is at 2811 S.E. 29th St., phone # 405-297-3100. The dog/cat adoption fee includes spay or neuter, MICROCHIP, age-appropriate shots and health check. Use pet's ID # when inquiring.
