Delta

Delta’s story began in a neighborhood in El Paso, Texas, where the stray dog population was overwhelming, and sadly, some people were intentionally harming these vulnerable animals. When we heard about the heartbreaking loss of numerous dogs in the area, we knew we had to act. We hit the road to meet Delta and bring her to safety, and when we finally laid eyes on her, we couldn’t have been happier—or more relieved. Despite everything she’d endured, Delta greeted us with a wagging tail, a hint of playfulness, and a heart full of sweetness. This 8-month-old Doberman/Shepherd mix is a truly special soul. While she arrived a little shy, Delta’s silly and lovable personality began shining through quickly. Alongside her rescue friend, Dawn, Delta started a professional training program to help build her confidence, and she made incredible progress! We are truly blown away by how much she blossomed through training. Every day, she blossoms a little more, revealing her gentle spirit, loyalty, and joyful energy. Delta is bonded with her sister Dawn and they will be adopted out as a bonded pair. They are looking for a loving, patient home where they can feel safe and grow at their own pace.
