You must meet Dexter! This handsome young fellow was found stray in rural Virginia, and he is now on the hunt for a loving forever home. He is friendly, loyal, and oh-so-sweet! His amiable personality makes him a favorite among all who meet him. His good nature and smaller size will make him a perfect fit for most any household. If you are ready for some extra love in your life, Dexter is ready and waiting to meet you. Submit an application today! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
