My Story

A24648 Dignity is a white colored, approximately 2-year-old, 63-pound, spayed female, Husky. She entered the shelter a stray on 01-01-2025 and was altered by our medical staff. Dignity is a friendly, timid and shy girl here in the shelter. Our staff describes her as nervous and scared at first. Saying you have to go slow and introduce yourself; she then will come up to be pet and loved on. She does not seem to like the leash and may do better with the harness. She was a little difficult to leash and seemed to want to bite the leash and not comfortable during our walks. She has had some training and will "sit" upon command. She is reactive to other dogs and a meet and greet is required if there is another dog in the home. She loves treats and is treat motivated, so training may be easy. Dignity will be a loving, loyal family member in her new forever home.
