My Story
A24648 Dignity is a tan and white colored, approximately 2-year-old, 63-pound, spayed female, Husky mix.
She entered the shelter a stray on 01-01-2025 and was spayed by our medical staff.
Dignity is a friendly, timid and shy girl here in the shelter. Our staff describes her as nervous and scared at first. Saying you have to go slow and introduce yourself; she then will come up to be pet and loved on. She does not seem to like the leash and may do better with the harness. She was a little difficult to leash and paused when being walked, needing reassurance. She has had some training and will "sit" upon command. She is reactive to other dogs and a meet and greet is required if there is another dog in the home. She loves treats and is treat motivated, so training may be easy. Dignity needs a home that is willing to work with her training and give her some confidence that she is safe. We don't know her past but she is deserving of a good future.
