Here's what my friends at the shelter had to say about me! "Dil immediately caught my eye because he is SUCH a stunningly handsome boy. I stopped and went to grab his kennel card and his excited response was to hack up a huge pile of yellow phlegm and then stare at me with his tail wagging. When I took him out to a run, he was s000 excited to run around, play with the toys in the run, and play with the neighbor dog in the run next door. This guy is all gas, no brakes and just plows through life with a happy, excited spirit. He was definitely burning off some pent up energy after being cooped up in a cage for so long! He did great on his temp test and you could tell he just really wanted to play with the other dog! Once he had been outside with me for a while I noticed him start to calm down, and then he became a super sweet & cuddly boy who wanted to lay in my lap and get belly rubs. I expected him to be too excited to want to go back to his cage but he went right in with no complaints, drank some water, and laid down in his bed. He's definitely got a lot of energy but if he's given enough exercise and maybe has another dog friend to play with, it looks like he settles down and can also be a really sweet & cuddly boy Please take a chance on Dil!"
