Dixie

Dixie is a 2.5-year-old coonhound mix who came to us from a Kentucky animal control. She is currently a little over 50lbs. Dixie is looking for a family that loves the howls of a hound! She is a sweet girl and seems to enjoy romping around with the dogs in the run next to her. She's very curious and excited about life. She does need work on leash manners as she tends to jump up as she gets excited to see people! Dixie has done well with meeting dogs, but is very loud, which some dogs do not enjoy. Dixie has met numerous kids and done well, soaking up the love!
