Domino

Domino is one of 13 dogs who came to us after the owner became terminally ill and went into hospice care. The owner was devastated to give them up. Domino is a beautiful black and white Shih Tzu girl. Initially we thought it is important that she lives with another dog since she has never been alone but she is so flexible and easy going we believe she will be happy anywhere. Domino is friendly and not a big barker. She walks on a leash well and loves attention. She gets along with most other dogs and all people, but she's never been around small children or cats. Domino weighs about 12 pounds and is 10 years old. She would love a yard to romp around in, and a cool house to rest in. If you have never adopted a senior dog, you are missing out. It is one of the most rewarding experiences you will ever have! Domino is "somewhat" pad trained but NOT thoroughly house trained. She will need some patience and consistency to help her with this. Domino is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will require brushing and professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Domino 's Adoption fee is $275 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue!
