Meet Dominoe ******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Dominoe, 6yr old neutered male, Staffordshire Terrier mix, 48lbs. Dominoe is in a foster home in Houston, TEXAS and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! Looking for the perfect gentleman? Dominoe is your guy! He is a handsome love bug that wants to be friends with everyone. This cutie loves getting pets, giving kisses, and lounging on the couch with his humans. He lives with a 4 year old, taking treats gently and does not jump on him nor knock him over. Dominoe has been around other dogs his size and smaller, puppies 3 lbs and adults 18-22 lbs, and he is perfectly behaved, giving them friendly tail wags and sniffs. The other dogs in the house don't really play, and he is respectful of their boundaries. He would be fine as an only dog, but would probably love another friendly pup in the home. This good boy knows "sit," "paw" and "down,” and even listens to the the 4 year old! He adores his stuffies and will bring you a toy to play fetch. He is a huge fan of booty scratches and will melt with happiness. Dominoe LOVES walks and will run to the door when the leash comes out! He does pull a little initially due to excitement or squirrels, but walks nicely when he settles down. He is low to medium energy and will happily go a few blocks to a couple miles. If the weather is bad, he does fine with just potty breaks. He is not destructive and has full run of the house overnight and when people are home. He does well once he’s in his crate for the 8 hours his foster family is at work. Dominoe sleeps on the floor in the bedroom, and will jump up in bed only if invited. He definitely hopes he is! ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown.
