Meet Don Draper – The Dapper Senior Gentleman! Well, he just goes by Don in his foster home, but his full name is Don Draper—like the charismatic Mad Men character. Found as a matted mess in the city, Don has transformed into a true silver fox, and even though we aren’t exactly sure how many candles belong on his birthday cake (definitely 10+), one thing is for certain—this guy is happy. Don is a little prince, strutting around with a charming bounce in his step, his tail always wagging like he’s got places to be and people to see. He’s visually impaired, but he still has some sight, and it certainly doesn’t slow him down. He loves his walks, enjoys zooming around the backyard, and mostly just wants to be near his people. At around 10 pounds, he may be small, but his personality is big. He’s a go-with-the-flow kind of guy—great with other dogs (though he’s more of a “let’s just vibe” type than a playmate), and he coexists beautifully with cats. Senior dogs like Don are truly the best to adopt—they bring a sense of gratitude, warmth, and unconditional love into your home.
