Meet Dottie – The Perfect Blend of Sweetness and Adventure! Dottie, a spunky 38-pound sweetheart, is just over two years old and full of life. We think she’s a unique blend of Australian Cattle Dog and bully mix – and that mix gives her both smarts, personality and stunning good looks! Dottie’s journey began with a rough start. Abandoned at the Fort Worth shelter in Texas and placed on the euthanasia list due to a severe cold, her future looked bleak. But thanks to a timely rescue, Dottie made a full recovery and is now ready to find her forever home. Healthy, happy, and up-to-date on all vaccinations, Dottie is heartworm negative, spayed, and both crate and house trained. She’s excellent at communicating when it’s time for a potty break or when her dinner is overdue – her charming barks will let you know! Dottie is an active, adventurous pup who loves car rides and exploring new places with her humans. She’s great with other dogs but would do best in a home without cats (they're just a bit too fun to chase!). Her ideal family would be active and have a fenced yard where she can run and play. While she's not suited for apartment living, she’d thrive in a home with dogs & kids! She knows basic commands, walks well on a harness, and loves cooling off in the pool on warm days. Dottie is also highly food-motivated, which makes training a breeze. Her favorite things in life? Butt rubs, car rides, and spending quality time with her people, like cuddling in your lap. She is the sweetest dog! Dottie is ready to fill your home with love, loyalty, and plenty of fun.
