My Story

Dr. Dog (gray and white) is a timid and shy boy who needs time and patience to come out of his shell. With consistent interaction, he warms up quickly and will even curl up in your lap once he trusts you. He is easily startled and prefers slow, gentle movements. He does not like to be handled and will bite if pushed beyond his comfort zone. Dr. Dog is making great progress with leash training and is picking it up fast! He also requires a medicated bath twice a week to keep his skin healthy. Snoopy(black and white) is more standoffish and struggles with trust. Fast movements scare him, and he may bite out of fear. However, once he builds a strong bond, he learns to accept affection at his own pace. Despite his initial hesitation with people, Snoopy enjoys playing with other dogs! Like Dr. Dog, he is also learning to walk on a leash. These two are deeply bonded and protective of each other. They need a patient and understanding home willing to give them the time and space they need to flourish. Once they trust you, their loyalty and love are unmatched. All potential Forever Fosters must reside within 100 miles of Mt Juliet, TN. All Forever Fosters dogs will have any medical expenses paid for by the sanctuary for the duration of their lives.
