Meet precious Drifter. This poor boy was first seen in August when he showed up at somebody's property but they chased him away. A month later he showed up at another home trying to find something to eat. About a month after that he started coming back to that property pretty regular. They were able to trap him, but couple of days later he squeezed through the stock trailer and disappeared. He was soon back and on a feeding schedule. This time when he was trapped they carried the trap with him in it into the house. A couple of days later he felt comfortable enough to come out and join in the family fun. He is about 45 lb and guessed at 1 year. He is very playful, loves to run around and bounce, and would love a yard to play in. He loves other dogs. He likes kids once he gets used to them, but he's pretty big and would probably be best for older children. He's been interested in the cats, but he hasn't gone at them. Guessing him to be catahoula and some lab or pointer maybe?
