Meet Ducky!! Ducky and his friend Goose were found in Tennessee in a house where their owner had passed away. None of the family members wanted either one of them, so they both ended up at the shelter. Both of them are just are so loving. We knew we had to step in to help them both find their forever homes. Ducky is a very smart boy who is learning his day to day activities. He's super food motivated which will help with training. Ducky is a very playful boy who loves his dog friends. He enjoys cuddling during down time with either his brother or his friends. Ducky also has a great personality where he will make a fantastic family member. Ducky usually runs around wagging his tail so happily. He seems to always be happy go lucky. Ducky enjoys his human contact as well. He enjoys cuddling with them, going for walks to explore, and meeting new people at a local coffee shop. With the fact that Ducky and Goose are both still very young, we will require that they do go to training. Puppies require lots of work and socialization. Training is one of the most important things for them during this age. We want them to be able to grow up to be fantastic family members. Ducky cannot wait to meet his human and dog family. Unless otherwise indicated, all dogs adopted through Fetching Hearts have received the following before being available for adoption: Thorough veterinary examination. All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP Bordatella (Kennel Cough) Heartworm Test Fecal Test, Deworming Microchip Flea and Tick Prevention Heartworm Prevention. Spay/Neuter All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease. VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward. HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
