Transport costs are included in his adoption fee. Mighty Mutt is a reputable dog transport company and they have stops in multiple states in the northeast. If you see your dog posted in a town/state then that is a regular pick-up location. Dutton is a big boy looking for a new home! He gets along well with other dogs and ignores the cats. Dutton is very friendly and very affectionate. He is very well behaved and is easily trainable. He walks well on his leash and enjoys strolls around the neighborhood where he can smell all of what the world has to offer. Dutton enjoys spending time with his foster family and wants to be a part of everything that is going on. He sleeps contently on the couch with the family but is also crate trained. He’s just a big boy with a big heart who would make a great addition to any family. Dutton came to us when he was picked up by our local animal control officer and taken to our citys high kill holding facility. He was never claimed by an owner so we went and picked him up, had him vetted , and are now looking for him a safe, loving, forever home. Dutton deserves a better life than what he has started with and we are dedicated to finding it. Dutton is estimated at around a year old and he weighs around 50lbs. He is up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and heart worm negative. He is also on flea, tick and heart worm preventative. There is always a high interest in our puppies and applications are processed for approvals as received when at all possible. Occasionally we will not have had them long enough for the second round. You will receive vaccination records for your puppy prior to transport. Our puppies less than 6-8 months old will not be spayed or neutered and the cost of out of state surgery is not included in our adoption fees. Spaying and neutering is an adoption contract requirement that it will be done by the puppy's first birthday. This will be at the expense of the adopter. Atlanta Texas Area Spay Neuter Project is a 501c3, proceeds go back to spaying and neutering dogs for low-income families in the Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana area and the care of puppies and dogs that we take in. If needed, we assist low-income families with emergency vet expenses for their current pets. All of our dogs will be located in Texas in foster care until adopted. We cannot guarantee breed. We do the best we can based on the appearance of the pup and the mother if she is known to us. We rarely know the father of the puppies and litters of puppies can have more than one father.
