Our next transport date will be Friday/Saturday November 8th/9th and November 15th/16th. Please see below for pick-up locations. We cannot do meet and greets with the puppies. The transport trip is hard and long and it's too long for a puppy to be in a vehicle if he had to come back to Texas. We do not take deposits. All adoption fees are paid in person at pick-up. Eddie had a home and lived with someone that loved and cared for him. Then his person had a health crisis and wound up in a nursing home. His family opted to turn Eddie over to a high kill shelter rather than care for him. I would never do that to the dog of my parents, and we couldn't let it happen to Eddie or his previous owner. We rescued Eddie from euthanasia row and promised him a happy life. He deserves that. He is a good boy that knows some commands, stays close by when you are walking or when he is outside. He takes treats nicely. Bless him, he bonds very quickly to new people, he is so desperate to be loved by someone again. He needs a new person that wants a companion that will stick right with you. There is always a high interest in our puppies, and applications are processed for approval as they are received when possible. Sun Prairie, and Fon Du Lac, WI. *St Louis area adopters would meet us in Collinsville, IL (this pick-up will be Friday evening). Springfield, Bloomington, and Oglesby pick-ups are also Friday evening. **Green Bay and Sheboygan adopters will meet us in Fon Du Lac. ***Joliet and Davenport area adopters will meet us in Ogelsby or Roscoe, IL. ****MILWAUKEE _ We don’t have a Milwaukee stop this time but do have 2 stops in WI and will be stopping in Roscoe, IL. Atlanta Texas Area Spay Neuter Project is a 501c3; proceeds go back to spaying and neutering dogs for low-income families in the Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana area and the care of puppies and dogs that we take in. If needed, we assist low-income families with emergency vet expenses for their current pets. All our dogs will be in foster care in Texas until they are adopted. We cannot guarantee breed. We do our best based on the pup's and the mother's appearance if she is known to us. We rarely know the father of the puppies, and litters of puppies can have more than one father.
