He's the epitome of a gentle giant - needy in the most endearing way, clingy like your favorite cozy blanket, and overflowing with love and playfulness. Imagine a big, happy shadow that loves bones and stuffed animals - that's Eddy!
Eddy is a social butterfly who adores all dogs and humans alike. His hobbies include playing with his favorite toys, indulging in long, dreamy cuddle sessions with his humans or his teddy, and soaking up all the attention he can get. He's a simple guy with simple pleasures - give him a bone, and he's in heaven!
Eddy came to us with no training and minimal manners, but look at him now- potty trained (he has a dog door), crate trained, and getting the hang of leash walking like a pro! He is still a work in progress, but he wants to make his humans happy!
Found in a shelter in Benton, Arkansas, Eddy's early days were tough. Mistaken for an 8-year-old due to his condition, this diamond in the rough turned out to be a youthful 4-year-old ready to shine. Since leaving the shelter, he's been discovering the joys of life - from the thrill of playing with toys to the bliss of a loving home. He's a testament to the power of love and care!
Our brave boy is heartworm positive, but he's tackling his treatment with the courage of a lion. This treatment is covered by Big Paws and requires lots of rest. Eddy is on his way to becoming the healthiest, happiest dog he can be. He'll continue his heartworm treatment and will soon be neutered.
