TLDR: My name is Eli! I'm a 45lb pittie mix and just shy of being 1 year old. I'm looking for a home where we can play and then snuggle. I want to please you and am learning more and more about how to be the goodest boy. xoxo Eli My Story: Hi everyone, my name is Eli...Eli Joseph. Normally, we don't get a middle name while in foster, but my foster mommy said we would make an exception because I survived Parvo. Yeah. It was scary when I was sick, and the dog-ter and the rescue people didn't know if I would make it. Thankfully, I pulled through and am now thriving. I am the most joyful, playful boy you will meet. Life is a gift, and I want to make the most of it! Let's see - what are the key facts about me? Well as you can see from my photos I'm a VERY handsome boy. I'm ~45lb and just shy of a year old. And while I might catch your attention with my looks, I'll steal your heart with my adorable personality. Want to play? Yes please! Cuddle time? Sign me up! Need me to occupy myself with a toy while you do stuff? Got it covered! Truly, I am a gem, and anyone would be lucky to have me. I asked if I should say that as I don't want to sound full of myself, but my foster mommy said it's the truth and should be shouted from the rooftops. I told her she being cheesy. Speaking of cheese, I love food. I'm such a good eater (and good pooper too!). I am cratetrained and keep my crate clean. My foster mommy said to emphasize that I am housetrained cause apparently that's awesome. Hmmm, what else? I get along with other dogs, but I do need to work on manners cause I just get so excited to make new friends. While I get along with other dogs, I'd be fine as an only dog in the home cause that just means I can get more love and one-on-one attention. Ideally my home will have a fenced in yard, but as long as I have outdoor space to play I will be cool with that! Lastly, I will come microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and neutered....yeah!!!
