FULLY FENCED YARD REQUIRED***** Elijah is a gorgeous 1 ½ year old purebred Great Dane. He is a Blue Fawn color and has the most velvety fur. You can’t help but want to pet and love on him. He was an owner surrender due to his owner moving out of the country. He currently weighs 135 lbs but when full grown and filled out should be about 160 lbs. He is crate trained and house broken. Elijah has met adults and children while in foster care and did really well. He will bark when initially meeting new people but quickly warms up. He needs to continue socialization with people and it’s important his new home gets him into training classes. Elijah needs a home that has experience with giant breed dogs as he has an enormous presence which can intimidate people and other dogs. He does well with other dogs that can tolerate his playfulness coupled with his size. He is a big goofy sweetheart of a boy that loves to be around his people. He loves bones and toys to play with, as if he's never had them before. With other dogs he can be a little possessive of these things but we believe in time will overcome that when he sees there are plenty of these things to have. Elijah is up-to-date on all his vetting and vaccinations. He is neutered, microchipped and Heartworm negative. He is being fostered in a private home.
