Ellie

Ellie is a delightful, dignified and funny dog. She is affectionate, brave, curious, gentle, loyal and independent. Above all, she is a true survivor and we are in awe of her bravery. Ellie is a friendly dog, who loves to meet new people (kids too) and dogs. She is a lovely, large, 87 lb, approx 6 year old female hound mix who is good on the lead and in the car, knows some basic commands and is house trained. Ellie has so much love to give, and is hoping that you will give her a chance to become part of your family. **Ellie is heartworm positive. The rescue will provide and pay for her treatment so we are looking for a foster to adopt who will be able to bring her to a few vet visits over the course of two months.
