Ellie

Hi, my name is Ellie and I am currently a 3 month old 12lb. pitty/mountain cur mix puppy! My foster mom thinks l'll be on the medium/larger size when I grow up, but you can never know for sure! I can be a little shy at first as I've been through a lot of changes in my short life, but I'm learning to trust, feel safe, and learn lots of new things in my foster home. My foster mom says I like to follow my people around and check out what they're doing as I am a curious pup. She loves to watch me get super excited to play with my toys and I like to collect them all in my bed. I love to run and bounce around with my toys too. I also LOVE to snuggle. My absolute favorite things are treats and bones. They easily catch my attention and help motivate me with my training. I'm working on learning my name, come, sit, and leash manners. My foster mom thinks I'm pretty smart I am also working on my potty training too! It was hard to get used to the cold weather in NY. I do awesome in my crate at night while my foster mom is at work. I have a fur-sister and fur-brother that took me a few days to warm up as they were bigger than me. I got a little nervous sometimes, but now we love to play all day long.
