If a dog’s listing is still up on Petfinder, then we’re still accepting adoption questionnaires/applications for them. Once a dog has been adopted, we will immediately remove their adoption listing. Keep reading to learn more about Elmer… (The good part): Meet our greatest Great Dane, Elmer! He's just over a year old and weighs around 80 pounds. Elmer is a total sweetie pie who loves to snuggle. Like, really really really loves to snuggle. In true extra large dog breed fashion, Elmer has absolutely no clue how big he is and he is determined to fit in your lap! He also has a tendency to embrace new people with hugs by resting his paws on your shoulders, which we find to be cute and endearing but it may not be for everyone! Elmer would do best in a home without cats; he enjoys chasing them a little too much. He is dog friendly but would also benefit from being the only dog in the home to start because he is working on his social skills. Elmer's adoption fee is $350, which includes age-appropriate vaccinations, neuter, and microchip.
