Elmo

Elmo is a 4.5-month-old German Shepherd x Cattle Dog mix with a heart full of love and loyalty. This sweet, gentle pup can be a little shy in busy or unfamiliar places, but with patience and kindness, he’s eager to gain confidence and explore the world by your side. He’s a total Velcro dog who looks to his human for guidance, often staying close at your heel. If you ever lose sight of him, chances are he’s right behind you! Although his breed mix might suggest high energy, Elmo is surprisingly mellow. He’s happiest cuddled up in your lap for a cozy movie night or quietly entertaining himself with a chew toy. He gets along well with cats and other dogs and is respectful of older dogs’ boundaries. Elmo is making solid progress with potty training as long as he’s taken out regularly. At night, he sleeps in his crate, though he can get a little FOMO when he’s not near his people. He’s a smart, food-motivated boy who loves practicing his “puppy push-ups” (sit and down) and learning new things. Elmo’s gentle, silly personality brings so much joy to everyone he meets.
