Emma

Emma is a three-year-old Bichon Frise and Poodle mix who weighs 13 pounds. With her incredibly soft, cloud-like hair and expressive, soulful eyes, she will melt your heart. Emma's history is a mystery, but we think she was afraid of the man in the household. She was an owner surrender without a reason given but it certainly doesn't have anything to do with Enma. Though she warms up to men over time, she instinctively prefers women. Emma is just coming out of her shell and developing her confidence for this next chapter of her life, so when she gets nervous, she sometimes has a small submissive piddle. She bonds intensely with her person and sticks to them like a shadow. Emma showed her affectionate, loving demeanor with her foster parents. She became a cuddly, enthusiastic, happy girl who basked in their love and gentle reassurances. She adores being held close and just wants to melt into your arms. When she looks at you with those soulful eyes, you can sense her gratitude. Emma walks well on a leash and is nonreactive. She gets along with other dogs but would prefer to be the only dog. With patience, love, and reassurance Emma will continue to blossom and love you unconditionally.
