Meet English, a 30-lb Beagle mix who’s here to charm you right out of your Union Jack socks. At just 1 year old, she’s already mastered the art of polite society—potty trained, great with other dogs, and an absolute gem with humans of all ages, kids included. This little Lady Beaglington has a Ph.D. in Good Manners (she follows directions better than your GPS) and listens so intently you’d think she’s taking notes. She’s also delightfully cuddly, so if you’ve been missing out on a lap warmer during your Netflix binges or royal family documentaries, English has you covered. Her Favorite Pastimes Include: • Following you around like a loyal member of your royal entourage. • Snuggling so sweetly you’ll think she deserves a knighthood. • Greeting everyone like they’ve been invited to her tea party. English is smart enough to star in a BBC special and sweet enough to be the Queen’s top cuddle advisor. So, what are you waiting for? All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue). The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention. Please see our website for more information. 2022 Adoption Fee Scale for non-benefactor animals: Puppies under 12 months - $350 Dogs over 12 months - $250 *Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our animals live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match!
