Meet Ernie! This 4 year old male Bulldog is an independent sort, but loves a good snack, and a good butt scratch. He will entertain himself for hours with a sturdy ball, then snore away the afternoon on the couch. Affectionate with people, slow to warm up to new dogs, though he did have a female canine companion prior to coming to UCC. He doesn't seem to like cats, and due to some mild possessive behavior around his toys, we don't recommend him with children- he is, however, a bulldog through and through, so anyone familiar with the breed will not find any of his quirks surprising or alarming.
