Everett- Foster Home Needed

We are a little stumped at what might be in his mix-- perhaps German Shorthaired Pointer, or Vizsla and possibly Doberman with the tan highlights around his face and legs. He was found as a stray in the Rockford area and he was emaciated. He is still very thin and his coat shows the signs of being malnourished. He also has some old bite wounds around his face. He is a very sweet dog, was play bowing with most of the dogs in my yard. Best guess is he is 5 or older at the condition of his teeth and once he has gained enough weight we will consider a neuter and a dental. The next step in his care is getting his blood work to check his overall health and to look for underlying tick borne diseases. We are looking for a loving foster or foster to adopt home in the Chicago area (with a safe fenced in yard) to help him recover.
