Hi my name is Evie, my foster mom gave me that name on Christmas Eve when she rescued me from a horrible place called “the dumping grounds” in Cleveland, Texas, outside of Houston. There were so many dogs out there, I didn't realize i was in danger, I had just been dumped recently, and my rescuers new I wouldn't survive for very long. I was so excited to see people bringing bags of dog food for all of us! My rescuer said Christmas Eve was the first day of my new life, and I would never be alone and scared again! My foster mom is always telling me what a good girl I am! She’s very impressed how fast I learned to sleep in my crate and go potty outside. Some of my favorite things are; playing with my foster siblings, finding a bone or 4 to chew on, and taking looong naps. I will be finishing all of my vetting soon. I’ll be spayed and microchipped, so I never get lost! I’m going to be traveling to Connecticut where my rescue is based, and I’ll be a Zen Dog CT dog, and find my forever family! I’m really excited about that! Zen Dog CT's adoption donation is $555.
