My Story

Meet Ezekiel. This budding senior was turned into a rural county shelter by his owner and was on the euthanasia list. One of our volunteers who works at the shelter advocated for him, and we were able to take him into the rescue. Ezekiel has already proven to be a very sweet, easy-going, social boy who gets along well with everyone. We know he's going to make some new owner very happy. Ezekiel is being fostered by Donna, her husband, and their pack of three pups, which includes a Pittie and two Chihuahuas. He acclimated quickly to his new home and does well with all the dogs. He's already started playing with his pack and is a respectful playmate. Donna says he enjoys the company of other dogs but has enough confidence to be an only dog, too. While Ezekiel was shy the first few days in his foster home, he's now fully engaged, and his charming personality has come out. He loves to snuggle and cuddle on the couch and has a low-key energy but still likes to play and romp in the backyard. He's crate-trained and house-trained and seems comfortable on leash. Currently, he gets most of his exercise in the yard, but we know he'll enjoy going for walks with his new family. He meets new people and dogs with ease, and was ready-made to be someone's sidekick. This dapper boy will be coming to town on 3/22. Apply today! Every person who fosters is directly responsible for saving the life of a dog, because we can only save as many dogs as we have foster families available to welcome them into their homes. If you think you might be interested in becoming a foster and want to learn more, please go to https://foster.worthydog.org and fill out an application.
