Feldman

At 11 years old, Feldman is a gentle, loving Lab mix whose world has been turned upside down. His beloved owner had to move to an assisted living facility, leaving him without the only home he’s ever known. Feldman is calm and easygoing, happiest when napping in a cozy spot or enjoying leisurely walks. Though his elderly owner couldn’t walk him, Feldman is a dream on the leash and enjoys gentle strolls to stretch his legs. He’s also great company- loving, loyal, and eager to be near his person. Understandably, Feldman is feeling the loss of his home and companion deeply, and he’s developed some separation anxiety. He seems to find comfort in the presence of another calm, friendly dog, so a home with a canine buddy may be a great fit. While Feldman hasn’t been tested with cats, his kind nature suggests he might do well with proper introductions. This sweet senior deserves a soft place to land, whether it’s with a committed foster or a loving adopter. Feldman’s ideal home would provide him with companionship, gentle walks, and all the affection he’s been missing. Let’s help Feldman find the home he truly deserves. We will only be looking at applications! 2. Please make sure you fill out our adoption application COMPLETELY. We may not be able to respond to applications that are not completely filled out with the proper information. Side note: on our applications, the more details you provide = the better. 3. We prefer applicants live within 60 miles of Closter, NJ. (Applicants who live farther away may still apply. However, please note we do prioritize local applications as we try our best to serve our local community first.) 4. Please respect our organization, our volunteers and our process.
