My Story
Festus is a friendly and playful dog who loves affection and getting cozy on the couch. He is very curious about his surroundings and loves to explore outside. Festus is an intelligent and funny dog who enjoys playing ball and gnawing on chew bones. He is athletic and has lots of energy, but he is also content to relax inside and keep you company. Festus is good with other dogs and loves giving kisses to his human friends. Despite his adorable personality, Festus' past is mysterious. He was dumped on the side of a road with his sister, but he doesn't let that get him down. Now that he's in a rescue, Festus is ready to find his forever home. He is a healthy adult dog who would love to share many years of laughter and love with his new family. If you're looking for a fun and loving companion, Festus is the perfect fit. Project Freedom Ride: Festus is currently fostered in Texas but is available for adoption throughout the country thanks to our transport program Festus' adoption fee is $500 which includes his neuter, current vaccinations (rabies, 4 parvo/distemper boosters, and Bordetella), negative heartworm test (if 6+ mths old at transport), negative fecal within 14 days of transport, health certificate within 10-days of transport, registered microchip, and transport costs. As a Project Freedom Ride direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet would take place on a video call (FB Messenger Call, Facetime, Zoom, Etc). The adoption application and fee would be finalized & paid in full prior to receiving your dog.
