My Story

Figgy is about 12 weeks old and her breed is a complete guess. Maybe beagle/pointer? Who knows. We believe she will be medium and size when full grown. Figgy Pudding is one of the easiest puppies her foster mom has ever gotten to raise. She loves all dogs and all people equally but can be startled by loud barking. She walks incredibly well on leash for only 12 weeks old and knows sit, down, and come so far! She is trained on a clicker and will work equally for food and toys. We affectionately call her Miss Piggy because she grunts when she eats. She is very good about self entertaining and knows what are her toys and chews. If she has access to her things she never bothers anything she shouldn't. She sleeps perfectly in a crate at night but can be a bit whiney during the day if there are other dogs out and around. She is not yet fully housebroken but will go to the door most times. Figgy is very excited about little kids but with some work she can learn to live peacefully with them we have already made some progress! She has a hound nose and will follow scent but has not shown any instinct to chase prey. Exposed to ducks and absolutely was terrified. We believe she would be best suited in a home with a fence due to her nose but with some serious recall work she may be fine without. Figgy is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, ?dewormed, and on monthly preventatives. Adoption Fee: $350 *** a complete and approved application is required prior to an in-home meet and greet*** Applicants must live within a one hour driving distance of Cleveland, Ohio Apply at onek9.net
