Fiona - World's Most Beautiful Tripod

Introducing Fiona! Having you ever seen a more stunning pup?! Fiona is absolutely gorgeous with her silky white coat and amber colored eyes. To make her even more uniquely perfect she was born with one leg not fully developed. Fiona ended up in a high kill shelter in Houston when her owner surrendered her. She was added to the euthanasia list quickly because of her leg. The director of our rescue just happened to meet her when she stopped by the shelter and she fell in love with her incredibly sweet personality so we knew we had to save her. Thankfully a foster stepped up and she was saved right before her deadline. Fiona is a ray of sunshine. She has no idea she was born different. And even though she may be slightly less stable that other pups she can walk just fine and loves to do so. We will be taking her to a specialist to see if they recommend amputation of the leg to help stabilize her (she does try to use it to walk sometimes which sets her off balance) or she may just end up keeping it. She is incredibly friendly and loves all people and dogs. She is also being fostered with a cat but she loves to chase him so unless your cat is a fan of playing hide and seek or will give her one swat across the face to tell her to back off she probably shouldn't he homed with cats. She is potty and kennel trained and knows how to good girl sit. She is very smart and we think she would love to continue training in order to be the best Fiona she can be. She is estimated to be only 1 year old. She loves to spend time outside and she loves to play. We'd consider her a medium energy gal and she would love a family that will include her in adventures and then snuggle with her on the couch..
