Flame

Meet Flame, Flame is an almost 4 year old, 28 pound (ideal weight 20 pounds), blue merle male Miniature American Shepherd. This picture does not do him justice, he is beyond cute and has a luxuriously thick coat. He is an owner surrender that we had previously helped with vet work due to a Squamous cell carcinoma on his paw. While his paw has healed well after the growth was surgically removed, we do not know at this point if the cancer will come back. Flame is living with 2 other dogs and kids in his foster home. He was reported to bark a lot by his owner in the apartment but his foster says he is not a dog that barks a ton (it is all relative based on environment and whether you are used to aussies - they are all big barkers...). Flame is house broke, crate trained, well behaved in the house and walks decent on leash. The Details: Needs fence: No, but we haven't tested him off leash either. Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: unkown Good with kids: yes, foster home has 5/6 year old kids ?All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers.
