My Story

We see a lot of dogs in the rescue world but we all had a minor cuteness overload when we met Frankie! The itty-bitty mash-up of what sure looks like, a French bulldog and a classic English bulldog, is what got us. Sure he is still on the puppy side of things at an est. 5-6 months and weighing 24 lbs, but he won’t get much bigger than this. So you are looking at one cutie boy with forever little-baby potential. You don’t need me to sell you on his cuteness though, he has that covered. So let me tell you about his personality. In classic, puppy-ish nature, he is curious and playful, friendly and ready to learn any and everything you want to teach him. He is a great with other dogs, both big and small! It seems he may be a bit on the aloof side, happy to be part of the fun but not in the middle of it. Basically, playing it cool and aloof but enjoying the company. Frankie is fortunate to be fostered in a loving home while he waits for his adoption day. This makes him even more of a catch! This has given him a wonderful head-start on all the basics including house training, crate training, house manners, and general socialization with people and dogs. This little guy wants to greet and be seen by the people and he may not have much of a tail to show you a happy wag but the little curly-bit he does have is somehow infinitely cuter! We feel confident that Frankie would do well in a house or apartment. Despite his little legs, he will enjoy walks and with continued training will be a lovely walk-about pal. You will see moments in Frankies video and in his photos that at the time, he had a condition casually called cherry-eye, although it is a painless, for cosmetic reasons, the rescue will be covering the cost of the very minor surgical removal of the exposed tissue. He will be as cute as ever and unfazed! Frankie is a one-of-a-kind boy who is sure to bring you and everyone around you plenty of laughs and love. A boy like him won’t be available for long so if you are even slightly interested, fill out an application or send an email to [email protected] with any questions. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
