My Story

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/gener. You can learn about the adoption process by visiting: http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/. Dog's Name: Frosty (FRO1124ALAMD) Estimated Breed: Catahoula MIX Approximate Age: 7 months Approximate Weight: 27 lbs Currently Living at: Boarding Adoption Fee: $400 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: I'm Frosty, a young soul whose loyalty knows no bounds! I'll be your steadfast companion through thick and thin. I'm also quite independent, happy to entertain myself, but always ready for your company. I love hanging out with my fellow canines, they're the best! I've got this unique look, one brown eye, one blue, making me a bit of a standout. But that's ok with me, I like being different! Fill out an application today and let's have the time of our lives! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home. For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at [email protected] SPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives! K-9 Lifesavers receives NO federal funding and survive with your generous support! We are all volunteer based organization so every cent from your donation goes directly to the dogs in our care.
